Garratt Wilkin and The Parrotheads

Beaches, boats, bars and tropical drinks with those little umbrellas. That is what you think of while watching and listening to "Garratt Wilkin and The Parrotheads" performing "A Celebration of Jimmy Buffett's Music".

Garratt Wilkin and The Parrotheads have headlined fairs and festivals throughout Utah, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, Nashville, Tennessee, as far away as Anchorage, Alaska and Hawaii, and as close as his home town of Placerville, California. Their popularity is expanding throughout all 50 states.

Garratt and his band have been billed as the #1 Jimmy Buffett tribute band in the nation. Garratt says, "Traveling with 'The Parrothead' is a great way to meet Jimmy Buffett fans and to make new 'Parrothead' friends. We get such a kick performing for fans that become just as much a part of the show as we are."

Since their initial transformation to exclusively performing Jimmy Buffett music, the band has evolved into a six piece core band that features Mollee Craven from "The Big Bamboo Steel Band" on steel drums. Garratt was quoted in an interview saying, "The steel drums are a great addition to the 'Parrotheads.' It gives us that real Jimmy Buffett, Coral Reefer island sound and when we add the horn section, that's a 'Parrothead' party."
